FOOD PANTRY

Our food pantry provides food and grocery items as well as holiday baskets to individuals and families, in Greencastle and Antrim Township, who are in need of assistance. We are able to keep our pantry stocked with donations of food items and money from our congrgation as well as Boy Scout food drives and USPS postal workers food drives. If you would like to help with this project you may deliver items to the church or contact  the church office to arrange for local pick-up of heavy boxes.

CLOTHING BANK

We have recently established a clothing bank which supplements our food pantry by providing clothing items for those in our area who are in need. These items are also donated by our members and organizations within the church. If you would like to help with this project you may deliver your items to the church or you may call the church office (717-597-3310) to arrange for local pick-up of your items.

QUILTING GROUP

We are blessed in having a group of ladies of varied talents who meet once a week to share in fellowship and make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. There is an ongoing need for any fabric remnants, sheets and blankets for use in the quilt making process. Donations of these items are gratefully accepted and may be dropped off at the church or local pick-up of items can be arranged by calling the church office (717-597-3310). The fruits of their labors, 115 quilts, were dedicated at the Ingathering service in October 2007. They were then packaged and shipped to those who are in need. Work started immediately on the quilts for 2008. Click on link below for more information on LWR quilts.

SCRAPBOOKING MINISTRY

This activity is designed to provide time and guidance to those interested in sharing fellowship with others involved in the hobby of scrapbooking. As we meet, we have the time and opportunity to share the stories behind the pictures we are using. We are able to get to know one another better as well as get a glimpse at how God is at work in our lives. Resources will be provided to help us record these stories and testimonies with our families and future generations. Through the use of these resources and fellowship with others, we also have the opportunity to grow in our own faith and relationship with God. Check our Calendar page for dates and times.

We have a trained and dedicated staff of teachers who are loved and adored by the children enrolled in the program. Contact the church office for details and registration.
