October is Social Ministry Month. Each weekend in October, our open plate offerings will go to support a different cause. This weekend, we are supporting ELC’s Food Pantry, and it will be used to restock the pantry shelves as needed. Envelopes to make a record of your donation are available at the sanctuary entrances.
The Greencastle-Antrim Christian Women’s Fellowship will meet on Tuesday, October 24th, at 9:30 AM in the Memorial Fellowship Hall. Patti Divelbiss will share “These Aging Times”. The resource information comes from the book “Being Mortal” by Dr. Atul Gawande and will help us laugh and get serious about living through life’s ups and downs.
Bible Study will meet this week on Thursday, October 26th, at 7:00 PM in the Parlor. The topic is selected women of the Old Testament.
The Oyster & Roast Beef Dinner is on Saturday, October 28th, at 6:00 PM in the Memorial Fellowship Hall. Reservations are due on October 22nd.
The Clothing Bank is in need of additional volunteers to help sort and organize clothing donations. It is open each Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. If you would be able to help out, please contact the church office.
The ET Youth is hosting a movie night at Trinity on Octobery 29th at 4:00 PM in honor of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. They will be handing out popcorn, drinks, and snacks for everyone’s enjoyment. A freewill offering will be available to support the National Youth Gathering and hurricane relief.
