An “Old Time” worship service will be held on January 18th, our last event commemorating our 225th Anniversary. The service will be approximately from the early 1800s, though we will bow to some modern amenities, like heat and electricity! Period dress is optional. Following the service, you are invited to join us for a period luncheon in the Memorial Fellowship Hall. Our anniversary time capsule will be filled to be stored away for 25 years.
Both youth groups will meet this evening from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at ELC. TELL will be setting up the display for the “Souper Bowl of Caring” and will begin collecting non-perishable food items from January 28 through February 18. The goal is to collect 500 cans of food and $500 in donations. ELC’s collections will be donated to our own food pantry, and Trinity’s collections will go to the food pantry at the Presbyterian Church.
This month’s Prayer Service will be held on Monday, January 22 at 7:00 PM in the Parlor. There will be no service in February.
The Greencastle-Antrim Christian Women’s Fellowship will meet on Tuesday, January 23 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Memorial Fellowship Hall. Denise Hutchinson will be the speaker, and her topic will be “Because He Lives”.
The next meeting for the R3 Generosity Academy will be held on Tuesday, January 23, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran, Rouzerville (rescheduled from the 16th due to snow).
The congregational meeting to address items brought up from the fall listening sessions will be on February 11 following the worship service.
