The TELL Youth Group is collecting donations of non-perishable food items and money through February 18 for the “Souper Bowl of Caring”. The goal is to collect 500 cans of food and $500 in donations. ELC’s collections will be donated to our own food pantry, and Trinity’s collections will go to the food pantry at the Presbyterian Church.
The congregational meeting to address items brought up from the fall listening sessions will be on February 11 following the worship service. The Reverend Rob Blezard will be preaching, and he will help facilitate the process of planning our future during the meeting. We would like as many people as possible to attend this session to help make sure our church has a future to meet the spiritual needs of the next generation and spread Christ’s love to all people.
The next meeting for the R3 Generosity Academy will be held on Tuesday, January 23, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM here at ELC.
Contribution statements for 2017 are available for pickup. If you have a question about your statement, please contact the office by Friday, January 26.
The ET Youth Group will hold a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, February 17 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM to raise funds for this year’s ELCA Youth Gathering. The cost is $7.00 for adults, $4.50 for children 3-12, and free for children under three. Please sign up through the church office by Sunday, February 4 (payment will be taken at the door on the 17th).
