Evangelical Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Church together operate two youth groups. The E.T. Youth Group (Evangelical-Trinity) is for middle and high school youth, while the the T.E.L.L. Youth Group (Trinity-Evangelical Little Lutherans) is for elementary school-aged children. The youth groups meet regularly during the school year and participate in lock-ins, retreats, and fundraisers.
Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.
The youth also periodically prepare and participate in Youth Sunday services. Fundraisers include spaghetti suppers, apple dumpling sales, and ham sandwich sales to support youth activities. Funds raised help Evangelical and Trinity send high school-aged youth to the ELCA’s triennial National Youth Gatherings since 2003.
All volunteers working with children have been screened and trained in accordance with ELC’s Child Protection Policy and Pennsylvania law.
