We are the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. Our website address is https://www.elcgreencastle.org. We are located at 130 N. Washington St., Greencastle, PA 17225.
Evangelical Lutheran Church serves the Greencastle community and surrounding area. It does not do work in or serve residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We try not post anything that would be embarrassing, objectionable, or hurtful to anyone in the photo. If we know someone is shy about such things, we ask them before posting the photo.
We will not put names as captions with photos except for the pastor and staff or other adults who have given express written consent.
We will remove any photo immediately upon request. Please send your request to the webmaster at email@example.com.
When you use a contact form, you are submitting your name and email address to us as well as any other information required by the form. Your data will be stored until such time as we deem it no longer necessary to store. Information submitted through contact forms is not used for marketing purposes.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. How long we retain your data
Data obtained for analytics purposes is retained indefinitely to examine trends and data history. Data submitted through MailChimp is retained indefinitely to provide periodic email communications. We may keep your MailChimp data even after opting out of receiving communications.
For users that have an account on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
